Paint your ride for 50$ with a roller
This is an excellent forum post in which one member gives you information about painting a vehicle with a professional foam roller. His paint jobs come out looking like show quality ones, and he has the pictures to prove it. This thread runs over 40 pages, so you should be able to gather everything you need to accomplish this. The paint type, the mixture, and the wet sanding paper grit are all covered in full. Wouldn't you love to see the looks on your friend's faces when you tell them your paint job was done with a roller for 50$?

Change a bicycle chain
Quoting from the site; "There are a lot of people new to cycling who are not aware that a bike chain is considered a "consumable", that is expected to be replaced periodically." Admit it, most average Joes don't ever change their bicycle chains for the period of time they own the bike. It's a shame considering the simplicity of replacing it if you know what you're doing or being told how to do it. With pictures and very good knowledge on the subject, this site is extremely helpful. It shows you what can happen if you don't change a chain, what tools you need to remove it, and how to change it properly.

Simple online guitar tutorial
Even though this is a very basic three part guitar guide, it does teach you the fundamentals needed to go on to the next, more advanced, tutorial. It shows you the string's notes, the tuning aspect, chord basics (with diagrams), and a couple musical scales. This makes for a less frustrating transition into the process of guitar playing. All you need to do now is become the next Hendrix.
